Sorry guys I've given-up: I've written this e-mail too many times and then the computer messes-up. So now this is really just a 'Stranger in a Strange Land Note':
It's really hot. Like 35 degrees! (That's almost 100 F I should say). We just had our first real week of work. I'm starting to have fun talking and exploring with Robby the Belgian kid who's also working here (though he can still sit through an entire breakfast without saying anything, if I don't say anything). We found this amazing river. So many beautiful views in general. The work is hard but we haven't had to work too many hours, but I haven't even met the sheep yet! Jo, the guy we're working for is cool, funny and really nice, but a little bit clueless and wild which leads to unintentional rudeness and unpredictability. Karina, the wife and cook, is meek and very helpful but is also sweet and sometimes we have a good laugh over little things. Ok, I'm going to end now before the computer messes up again!
I hope all's well with everyone, I'll write more later.
love,
Eli
p.s. the very early dinners are usually tasty but breakfast and lunch is monotonous... it was so nice to have some chips and salsa yesterday. And I'm sorry but they eat too much fish... |
