Eli Gerzon is a self-educated American who writes and speaks about education and travel. Born and based in Boston, he runs his own natural landscaping business when he's not travelling around the world. He went to private school then public school until the age of fifteen when he began homeschooling or "worldschooling" as he likes to call it:

"Where the whole world is your school instead of school being your whole world."

Ever since then he has promoted the idea of people taking their education into their own hands by organizing groups and events, writing, and speaking.

At the age of eighteen he began his solo international travel and so far has been to over a dozen countries in all four hemispheres often living, working, or volunteering for months at a time.

His travel missive "Stranger in a Strange Land Newsletter" is sent monthly to subscribers, chronicling his travel adventures, cultural observations, and parallel inner journey as he explores the world. He hopes you enjoy his site and can even use it as a source of inspiration! Please feel free to contact him with any questions:
